I am sorry to say that I had a negative experience right from the start. I made a purchase from PC Universe via Pricegrabber.coms web site. Pricegrabber gave this great price and their information (which they should be receiving from PC Universe) said the item was in stock. Two days after making the purchase I contacted the store in Boca Raton, Florida; I am in Melbourne, Florida; about 1-1/2 hrs away; only to find out my item was on back order. I went back to the web site to check again and sure enough the site still showed "in stock." It was explained to me that there is no way to know when I might receive my item; Very bad business is my opinion. This was my first encounter with PC Universe and will probably be my last one. My order status was only updated today; two business days after placing the order.

Horrible experience. Product was dead on arrival. Very poor customer support. Yes, they do answer the phone but give you the run around. Lots of red tape for returns. My advice: simply stay away and if you make the mistake of dealing with them: check with your credit card for a charge back. Simply return item. Even if they do not accept the return and do a return to sender: you have proof for that you send it back. Thats enough. Let them drown in their own red tape.

I purchased a $75 computer case and was shipped a small thermos. I called to report it and the agent thinking aloud said both items had the same stock #. When I requested they send my case out I was told they wouldnt until they received their thermos back even though I needed it and this was clearly their error. I was told that I could be a crook just trying to get a free computer case. I offered to fax my invoice proving I was in fact mistakenly sent a thermos but the agent didnt care. I will never shop with them again.

I had a horrible experience with PC Universe and will never shop there again. Not only did they delay shipment by two days, but when the product it arrived (a Coby digital photo frame), it only worked for about an hour before dying. I tried to contact customer service via email several times and finally had to contact my credit card company to tell them to cancel the payment. Then, when PC Universe finally did get back to me about returning the product, there were so many rules on returning it that I had to print them out and go out of my way to do everything they asked in the time limits they gave me. Not to mention it cost $12.00 for me to return the product, when it wasnt my fault the product was defective in the first place. I *DO NOT* recommend shopping there.

Tito was great. He has an excellent phone presence. He took the time to explain the features of the printer and he showed me another printer for comparison. (we were looking at your web site together). I spoke to him twice before I made the decision to buy from you. Actually, I found the printers at another location for $9 less, but I didnt like that company. Their phone rep didnt seem to care if I bought from him or not. So I ordered from you instead.

My order was canceled due to "insufficent product availability." It took almost 3 business days for them to determine this! Talk about inconvient!! The accesories I ordered for the camera are already shipped and what am I supposed to do with them now?

One of the most basic expectations of any merchant is for them to deliver the item after you pay. PC Universe failed at even this. With absolutely no contact from the seller at all, my order was canceled. This was a week after my order was placed. Ive been checking my doorstep for nothing. If the order had to be canceled, I expect an explanation and apology as to why my time was wasted.I took my order seriously, and needed the item to be shipped in reasonable time. Now I have to place an order elsewhere and pay extra for fast shipping.

I received the wrong item. I called to have this corrected, talked to someone who told me I would be called back, and never was called. I sent an e-mail and got an automatic return authorization. I returned the incorrect item three weeks ago and have not heard back despite leaving another e-mail. Now the correct item is out of stock.

I ordered over the phone and it was pretty painless. They contacted me promptly when they had a problem w/my cc (they wrote the number incorrectly), so the order was processed in a timely manner. I would like to see a quicker turnaround time between placing the order and it actually shipping.
