Strengths: Small, card reader, LCD
Weaknesses:no separate ink cartridges
Overall Evaluation: The Photosmart 8050 Photo Printer is a compact printer that produces quality prints. It includes a LCD to preview pictures and a card reader for direct printing. On the downside, it uses 2 cartridges with 3 colors each. This means that if one color runs dry, you have to replace the entire cartridge, which results in wasting whatever ink the other two colors have left. If not for this design flaw, this would be the perfect printer in my book.

Strengths: Accepts Memory cards,Nice Prints
Weaknesses:Uses ink fastly, NO USB Cable
Overall Evaluation: I liked the printer. I purchased at staples for $50. I shouldnot have negative comments for the price. It prints great pictures. But the cost to print each 4X6 is fairly high.I am already running out of inks.

Duration of ownership:
Strengths: good quality
Weaknesses:none
Overall Evaluation: I was very surprised at the quality of my pictures. Vivid, clean, sharp pictures..Another great thing was that the setup was a sinch, so I was able to print pictures quickly. Lastly, this model (over the 7850) gives you the option to link the camera directly to the printer or insert your camera's memory card into the front of the printer so that you don't even need a computer. (There are some editing limitation with this option, but at least there's the option.) Lastly, there is an extra paper tray for borderless 4x6 photopaper. Nice.

Overall Evaluation: HP printer prints photos better than any local 1hr photo and it flies through text. One of the best for pricepreformance, very easy to setup and work with it, LCD is very handy and doesn't requires computer.

Strengths: Very easy to use especially if you read the directions in the manual. Makes great pictures either by sd card or by camera without a sd card.
Weaknesses:I haven't found any yet.
Overall Evaluation: I would recommend this printer to anyone who wants to buy a printer just for pictures. The pictures come out just as good as any place that develops pictures. Also when I purchased the printer it was a great deal plus a rebate.
