    Duration of ownership: 28 Months

Strengths: easy to understand, easy to set-up, easy to use

Weaknesses: haven't found any since i downloaded it in 11/05

Overall Evaluation: great! great! great! anyone can understand & follow the instructions. you can customize it to keep your registry for a day or every day forever. this has saved me so many times.i am a permanent novice, guarenteed to screw up my system over & over in endlessl ways that are a mystery to me. i've had to use registry info from years ago (won't say how many) because i've done so much damage . my registry(ies) have been accessable no matter what. and it uses very little space. thanks & praise to it's generous creator from a poor airhead.

    Duration of ownership: 6 Months

Strengths: This program saved my butt! Using the built in restore option, I was able to avoid having to reload my OS. The programs documentation also provided information about another utility that allows you to boot from a Windows CD to recover your PC when all else fails.

Weaknesses: None that I came across

Overall Evaluation: Outstanding !!! This utility is a must have.

    Duration of ownership: 5 Days

Strengths: Works invisibly, Makes it possible to quickly and easily revert to an older form of the registry.

    Weaknesses: None so far.

Overall Evaluation: Less than 4 days after I installed ERUNT, I used it to restore a W2K registry. It worked flawlessly. Although I always back up registries weekly and before doing major change,s inevitably, at least once or twice a month, something will simplay go wrong and I end up having to revert to a version somewhat older than the one I want.In this case, I might have been able to solve the problem with hours of research, but decided to give ERUNT a try. Just as advertised, it had been making backup copies of the registry without my even noticing it (and the computer in question is ancient). I selected the version backed up just prior to the day the problem started and, voila! All fixed.Obviously, there my be circumstances or computer environments in which ERUNT won't work as advertised, but I am impressed by the fact that it installed without a hitch, and in this first "test", did just what it was advertised to do. I wish I had known about ERUNT years ago. It would have saved me weeks of tedious backups and out-of-date restores. And if Vista doesn't have a similar facility, I hope the developer will update ERUNT to work with it. I consider it to be absolutely indispensable.
