With HP wireless printers, you could have printed this from any room in the house. Live wirelessly. Print wirelessly.

MacPractice has announced that its eponymous medical practice software can now help doctors use the electronic prescription service eRX NOW.

eRX NOW is a free Internet-based electronic prescribing system from Allscripts. The service stores prescription history, tracks drug interactions and works on computers, PDAs and cell phones that are Internet-connected. Allscripts provides free training and support for eRX NOW. The company is a member of the National ePrescribing Patient Safety Initiative (NEPSI).

MacPractice also noted plans to offer another e-prescription system that will be built in to MacPractice MD, DDS, DC, 20/20 and EMR/EHR. That system will track patient prescription history and will debut later in 2008.
