Apple Updates Safari for Tiger Users
Peter Cohen, Macworld.com
Apple has posted Safari 3.1.2 specifically for users of Mac OS X 10.4 "Tiger." The update is available for download from Apple's Web site.
Apple recommends that all Safari Tiger users install the update; it contains stability improvements and the latest security updates.
According to documentation supplied by Apple, the new release of Safari for Mac OS X 10.4.11 contains a new version of WebKit that fixes a problem that could cause a maliciously crafted Web site to cause an unexpected application termination or arbitrary code execution. The updated WebKit fixes a memory corruption issue related to the handling of JavaScript arrays.
