Manufacturer's Info: The 250 GB Dual-option Media Center from Western Digital combines an external hard drive, an 8-in-1 card reader and USB 2.0 hub in one compact device. The hard drive offers a high storage capacity of up to 250 GB, and features 7200 rpm rotational speed for maximum storage performance. The extended use of the hard drive develops problematic areas which are automatically found, isolated and repaired with the help of Western Digital?s Data Lifeguard embedded error detection and repair features. The 8-in-1 memory card reader provides a quick and easy way to download files from digital cameras, DV camcorders, MP3 players or other recording devices. It is capable of reading various media types including CompactFlash Type I/II, IBM Microdrive, SmartMedia, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, Multimedia Card and SD Card. The device also includes a USB 2.0 hub with two ports; one conveniently located on the front for easy connection of USB peripherals such as keychain drive, printer, keyboard, or mouse.
